I travel for work building the nations power lines. I travel with a 14k pound fifth wheel so my wife, baby and I can live comfortable.
We recently drove from Texas to Goldendale, Washington. We are leaving from Goldendale to California today and I drove to the local Carquest to buy an air and fuel filter for my 2006 doge 2500 5.9 Cummins. They charged me almost $60 for the pair. $28 and change for the fuel filter.
I have never paid more than $15 for a fuel filter!!!
I paid the amount in sacrifice for the maintenance of my truck, but I will never enter another Carquest again. Inflation in a small town should be illegal.
